Starting on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, I will be posting short meditation prompts. Take five minutes to relax, unwind, or come into a focused day. These prompts can support your daily work or creative projects, and offset the effects of too much technology!

Five-minute meditations…love it! xoM
Yeah, when we are so busy blogging, who has time to meditate? Enjoy!
This is such a great idea! I’ve been way over-busy to the point of being frantic. I need a restorative meditation!
Thanks, Catherine. You raise the issue of frantic, which you are SO not alone with. Aim for 5 mins. to put frantic on hold or a shelf or watch it go poofff!! Take a few deep breaths and listen inside (or whatever you have done as a practice in this realm) but if this is NOT instantly helpful and may in fact have an opposite effect, get up and do something physical, like, make a list, walk a dog if you have one, cook, putter with plants. Time it for just a few minutes so that it does not feed the frantic feeling.
More later, you gave me fuel for thought. Wishing you an un-frantic day! Sheila
